Instagram saw it first- I created a FREE downloadable fitness tracker for November to help me plan out my workouts and make sure I schedule active rest days. Plus, the Holiday season is here and work is only getting busier. I don’t want to fall into a the “I’m too tired to workout” groove. So, this is a way for me to not only write out ahead of time what I’m going to do- even if it’s the week of/ before- but, I’m placing this on the bulletin board in my room. I see this every morning I wake up and this will help motivate me to get to the gym on those cold and snowy days (like today).

I LOVE the Chicago fitness and health/ wellness scene. We have a plethora of options- you’ll never run out of things to do in the city or suburbs. Plus, no matter your fitness preference, you’ll find a workout that excites you and helps to reach your goals. I’m including a few of the events that caught my eye this month. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make most of these, but they sound fun and I’m hoping someone else reading this can go! Plus, how fun to bond with friends, family or a significant other this way!

I love the Strava app for running. I’m able to synch up to my lululemon run club, and add my miles to our group goal, and see the routes my friends are running near me! Plus I find this has been the most accurate in tracking my time, distance, and doesn’t glitch.

This thing SAVES my quads, IT band, etc. Plus, it’s a great way for me to slow down and make sure I’m taking care of my body/ muscles and not putting too much stress on them. I love foam rolling then taking a warm shower or bath.
