CALLING ALL THE LADIES! Join myself and co-hosts Gina Martirano and Midwest Strength + Performance for a fun and empowering afternoon. Galentine’s Day was created as a way to celebrates female friendships. However, Gina and are taking it a step further. We will lead participants in a confidence boosting and empowering afternoon- full of sweet treats, yoga, intention setting + more! A portion of ticket sales will be donated to local charity organizations fighting to end human trafficking within the Chicagoland area.
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. This holiday is all about celebrating love- so show yourself a bit of love. Mainstream media has popularized Galentine’s Day. It is celebrated worldwide on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day, as a way to show appreciation to female friendships. The past few years, women all over have come together to throw parties and shed light on this holiday.
We have created an afternoon where ladies can come together to celebrate female friendships and the other female relationships in their lives while taking the time to recognize, encourage and prioritize self-love.
It can be so easy to put self-care on hold. Whether you’re a mother, daughter, friend, single, married, divorced- no matter your status, come celebrate how powerful and important YOU are.

WHAT TO EXPECT
-
The event will begin with a battlerope and bodyweight warmup led by Midwest Strength + Performance‘s coach, Zane Roebuck. Coach Zane will take the group through exercies suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The warmup will help relieve any anxiety and unwanted energy to increase focus for the restorative yoga practice and journaling.
-
Yoga instructor, Gina, will lead a relaxing yoga class to help de-stress, aid in mobility, lengthen out the body, and help participants focusing on the strength inside of us. You will feel strong and supported- it’s when feeling those things, we are able to serve and strengthen our relationships with others. So commit to your relationship with yourself, first! “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line.” After the yoga class, Gina and I will lead a self- reflection for intention setting and affirmations. It’s time to let go of what no longer serves you- say goodbye to self-doubt and create space for new things.
