Hi Friends,
Last week I wrote about what it means to “do something”. As I said seven days ago, “it’s easy to say you’re going to do something, yet another to actually do it”. I want to keep the challenge from last week and make this week two. I have come up with easy ways to give back and help others. If you are running out of time this week to volunteer, no worries. These options are for you. There is no excuse as to why you can’t make a difference in the world. At the end of the day the only thing preventing us from doing so, is our mindset.
Challenge Continued: Go Out & Do Something
For the next week we are going to complete a service project. The size of the deed doesn’t matter. Don’t be afraid to think of your own new project. Grab a friend and have fun serving others! Anyone can make a difference but not everyone decides to. Be the person who is bold enough to change the world.
These are ways you can make a difference and serve a different way:
1. The Giving Keys

With the purchase of any of their products, you are employing a homeless person. If you would like to learn more about this wonderful company, I encourage you to visit the website and read the article I wrote.

2. He For She
He for she is a campaign focused on gender equality. Learn more, take the pledge and join the mission!

3. Food Fight
Food Fight is a student lead non-profit organization that aids in the eradication of world hunger. If you’re in the Chicagoland area, see how your school can become involved! Another way to join this organization is by donating on their website.

4. Half United
This company takes old bullets and turns them into jewelry. The proceeds from their products goes to eliminating world hunger. With the purchase of one item, 7 meals are provided to children in need.

5. TOMS
As they say on the website “your purchase can change a life”. When you purchase a pair of shoes, TOMS gives a pair to children in need.
